- Kindergarten Important Words - These are the lists of words your child is expected to learn this year. The Red list will be assessed at the end of the second quarter, the Yellow list will be assessed at the end of the third quarter, and the Pink list will be assessed at the end of the fourth quarter. Color words as well as number words are introduced, but are not on this list, nor do we test for them.
